The silent hill series is really good. I know it scared the hell out of me the first time I played it!

The first Resident Evil back in the day, first Silent Hill, and Parasite Eve were all really good, scary/creepy games. I liked them all for sure.
As for Slender Man it's not a good game, at all, and it's not scary or creepy in the least. It's pretty weak. My 14 year old son things it's pretty good but it's just so boring.

Fatal Frame (the first one) had some great scares in it! I remember playing that for the first time and damn near shit myself.

I've never heard of that one. It sounds like it would have been a whole lot of fun though.

Fatal Frame was on ps2. No weapons, just a camera that would "damage" the spirits and ghosts by taking their pictures. Very cool and different concept. I think they made something similar on the 3ds recently

That kind of reminds me of the way you'd damage spirits, or whatever, in Alan Wake with your flash light beam and the like street/path lights.

Never got to try Alan Wake, though from what I've seen it looks pretty good. Alone in the Dark was pretty good (on ps1), tho there's one called Inferno for ps3. I got that one just haven't got to it yet
