So season 6 of the Walking Dead began last night and it began with a big episode!
We got to see what the group has been up to since the end of last season, which hasn't been a whole lot yet as the season clearly picks up right where last season ended, basically. Within days of the end of last season.
I loved the fact that the past, in the episode, was done in black and white like the comics are. That was awesome.
You can see Rick really starting to take charge now and Deanna is clearly leaning on doing exactly what Rick believes needs to be done.
There are some tensions there and some new things to wonder about.
It appears Sasha is now better from the end of last season, and she just wants to be productive again but now it appears Abraham has replaced her as the person who appears to not care if he lives or dies anymore.
Over all a really good first episode to kick things off and I feel pretty confident we're starting the No Way Out arc from the comic. Things are going to be pretty intense over the next few episodes for these people.

So far the first half of this season has been really good. I've really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to the midseason finale this Sunday.

Mid Season finale was a little bit disappointing. It didn't really progress the story any and it basically only set up the first episode of the second half of the season to be HUGE.
